Oblong Limoges Box with a Bunny on Top

A bunny sits perched on top of an oblong porcelain box, looking as if it just hopped in from the garden. It was hand-painted in Limoges, France, as a figural Limoges box.

Hop Into Spring

Rabbits have long stood for spring, new life and good luck, which is why they turn up at Easter tables and in cottage gardens alike. Set on an oblong base, this bunny feels calm and at rest, ready to keep watch over a shelf.
